Bring a picnic supper and/or poems to share (an open reading follows the feature).
Walden is a carry-in, carry-out park, so please be respectful of the environment and be prepared to clean up after yourself. The reading will be outdoors. For information and directions to the site, go to the Tsongas Gallery next to the Thoreau Society gift shop.

About Our Features:
Vicki Murray's chapbook, Running a Red, was a finalist for the Philbrick Poetry Award. She has written for Tar River Poetry and The Courtland Review, among others. She teaches creative writing at Simmons College in Boston and is a contributing editor for Salamander.
David Surette published his first book of poetry, Young Gentlemen's School, in 2004, and his second, Easy to Keep, Hard to Keep In in 2007. He teaches at East Bridgewater High School.
Together, Vicky and David host Poetribe, the well-known poetry series in Bridgewater, Mass.
